Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Currently resides in Las Vegas, NV.
After graduating, Jaye would join the Marine Corps where he would get his first exposure to standup during a talent show on base. Taking second place was not nearly as significant as the passion he found from telling his stories onstage. He would spend nearly three years honing his craft but upon leaving the Marine Corps found it difficult to balance civilian life with his passion.
Armed with a bevy of life experience and knowledge, his approach to comedy is simply the life of the everyday dude. He shares his views on relationships/marriage, fatherhood, corporate life and living as a Black man in America with a sly candor and unfiltered wit.
His credits include The Comedy Store, Comedy Union and J Spot in Los Angeles, CA, The Ice House in Pasadena, CA, Las Vegas Live and The LA Comedy Club in Las Vegas, NV.
Al Shuman is his name, misdirection is his game, and his upbringing is what he blames. He’s performed at showcases all over California including: Cobb’s Comedy Club, the San Francisco and Sacramento Punch Line, Laughs Unlimited, and the HaHa Comedy Club.
Former homeschool, ex-missionary, public school teacher, Kelley Nicole is a dog owner and lover of burritos, puns, and sleep. After years of being a global vagabond (lived, worked, visited 24+ countries), “I call Sacramento home because this is where my mortgage is. I'm always looking for patrons to pay said mortgage so I can continue travelling.”
Kelley is an audience favorite and was just recently featured in the sold out FUNNY FEMMES: FIERCE COMEDY TOUR.
