Be ready for sponteniaty, quick wit, and improv games. Unfamiliar with improv games? Think of Whose Line is It Anyway, or, most recently, Trust Us With Your Life. That’s short form improv, and that’s what the Shorties bring to the Blacktop Comedy stage!
We layer together games, sketches, and surprises, all while using your suggestions. You play a big role in every Shorties performance…if you want to. It’s interactive theater! You can shout out suggestions, or just can sit back and enjoy the show. WE NEVER PICK ON ANY AUDIENCE MEMBER.
Seating is limited and the Shorties only perform twice a month. We strongly encourage you buy your tickets in advance. Every Shorties show is different and features a variety of games, but our goal is always the same: make you laugh! Our performers are some of the most talented in the area, including Rebecca Valdez, Barbara LeVenton, Jonathan Milby, Linda Williams, Aaron LeVenton, Gordon Sharp, Lori Wynant, and Paul Burke.
