Get out of your head and into that improv scene! Improv is fun! Well, it can be, as soon as you stop worrying and become present. This workshop teaches the positive qualities of Imporv Mindfulness, and letting go of the ego and embracing the moment. Mindfulness is the act of increasing the ability to breathe, see, hear and follow your impulses while onstage. Challenge yourself with this workshop dedicated to opening up your mind and unleashing untapped potential.
The workshop will cover:
Letting yourself fail and loving it.
Learning to listen to your body.
Learning to trust your instincts.
Teamwork onstage and off.
The class will be help at Blacktop Comedy, so expect the same supportive, stress-free environment you find in all Blacktop classes.
Kevin Brown, has been Improvising since 2001. He has been a practicing Buddhism since he could read. He has a degree in History with a focus on Asian Studies, and is a California certificated teacher.
