New Session Begins:

We’re going to take all those basics you learned in Level 1, and teach you how to do so much more with them.

In Level 2 discover the power of fearlessly initiating scenes, trusting your instincts, and exploring your imagination. You’ve learned how to begin an improv scene, but how do you sustain that scene? How can you keep it going? Find out in Blacktop Level 2.

Learn about focus, understanding the “game,” and creating complex characters you can carry throughout a performance.

Level 2 concentrates on the two-person scene, the cornerstone to long-form improvisation. Class attendance is capped at 12 students.

Paul Burke and Betsaida Lebron are directors and performers at Blacktop Comedy and founding members of The Colony. They bring a combined 12 years of experience to the stage. They have played with well-known improvisers in Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle and San Francisco.
